If we don't know our skin type, we will use the wrong product which will cause more pimples, whitehead, acne and anyother skin issue in our skin. That's why we need to know our skin type. It is not only essential to know your skin type, but it is also important to know how to identify your skin type!!
So today I am going to give a solution to how to find your skin type. So in this article you will get the answer of what is your skin type? 
And accordingly you can use toner, moisurizer,serum, and makeup product.
Basically there are 4 types of skin:
  1. Dry skin
  2. Oily skin
  3. Combination skin
  4. Sensitive skin
You will need a tissue paper. Wash your face and after half an hour press the tissue paper on different parts of your face (forehead, nose, chin area and probably whole face.

Dry skin

If you don't see anything on the tissue paper, but you feel like your skin is tight after washing your face. This type of skin remains dry throughout the year whether it is summer or winter.
Due to lack of moisture, dry skin gets wrinkles and fine lines very quickly. So 
It is very important to moisturize such skin type. Do not wash your face with soap and hot water.

problem: visible lines, rough texture, dull complexion, dry and red patches, invisible pores.

How to care:
  • Apply the moisturizer as often as you wash your face.
  • Glycerin helps retain moisture.
  • Olive oil, jojoba oil, Shea butter, lanolin, mineral oil, and petroleum jelly are good oils for dry skin.
  • Do not sit close to hot air, because the hot air can take away the moisture from your skin.

Oily skin

If you see oil on tissue, it means your skin is oily. There is a lot of sebum production, which makes your face look shiny and oily. This type of skin remains oily throughout the year, whether it is summer or winter.

Problem: Pimple, blackhead, open pores. Your skin catches dirt very quickly, and causing acne. It is very important to keep such skin clean so that there is no extra oil on the skin.

How to care:
  •  Use only oil free products. The best point is, wrinkles do not occur easily in such skin.
  • Use toner before moisturize face. Toner hydrate your skin. If open pores will close, then Your skin will look less oily.
  • Use water based light weight cream for moisturize your face.
  • Don't use powder for control oil because this will increase the risk of acne. Use blotting sheet instead powder to soak the oil.

Combination Skin

If you see oil from nose, forehead and chin area on tissue paper then you have combination skin.
Your T- zone area = forehead, nose and chin area look oily and the rest area will look normal or dry. This kind of skin remains oily in summer and dry in winter. 

Problem: blackheads and pimples on nose.

How to care:
  • Very important to follow the CTM rule.
  • CTM means Cleasing+ toner+ moisturizer
  • It cleanses skin tone and prevent other issues related to skin.
  • Skin toner is the most important step in any skin care routine because toner removes extra sebum from skin and moisturize the dry area. 
  • Use toner which include less amount of alcohal and contain sour oils. Alcohal removes oil from your face.
  • Gel based moisturizer are the best for combination skin.
  • For naturally moisturizing combintion skin you can use glyesrin.
  • Do not ever skip sunscreen. It protects your skin when you go outside.
  • Drink 3-4 ltr water to keep your skin hydrated.

Sensitive Skin

If your skin turns red and allergies after using any makeup cosmetic product then your skin is sensitive. 


Problem:
Dryness, itchiness, redness
Red rashes also occur when making eyebrows.
Sensitive skin has to be taken care more especially in winter.

How to care: 
  • Wash your face twice a day. Don't wash more than two times by with this your skin feel irritated.
  • Don't rub the face with a towel after washing the face.
  • Don't forget to remove makeup with cleansing oil Before going to sleep.
  • Don't use excessive products. Using more product means more chemical and it can increase the chances of negative reaction in the skin. For eg: large amounts of chlorine contains in swimming pool and water park water.
